4.0 out of 5 stars From back cover, March 24, 2010
This review is from: Boat Data Book (Hardcover)
Ian Nicolson, one of the most experienced and sought after surveyors of small craft and an author of fourteen books on sailing, has revised this second edition of his Boat Data Book

It is a unique collection of hard facts and relevant figures in tabular form. Among the seven sections, each with numerous sub-headings, are data on fastening, materials, spars, rigging, engines, equipment and conversion tables for all kinds of units

This book remains essential reference for yacht designers, builders, repair yards, do-it0-yourselfers, owners and all who maintain their own boats
