1.0 out of 5 stars Must have
This book makes an excellent paper weight and only lacks appeal when opened and read. The "author" of this book would do best to seek another career path. This text is by far one of the most dry and uninteresting things I have read to date.

4.0 out of 5 stars Part of the excellent Chapman guide series, November 12, 2009

Chapman's guides are highly accessible reading for boating. These guides are small enough to leave aboard the cruising vessel as a reference. Well done but not as good as the more comprehensive volume: Chapman Piloting Seamanship & Boat Handling.

I will never again use the Yachting Ensign in place of the US Ensign at the stern. Nor will you if you read this book. Boaters, all, please take note.
