This review is from: Bob Anderson's Stretching for Winning Tennis [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The title of this book should have been Tennis Stretching in 15 minutes or less. The back jacket on the video said "Approx. 30 minutes", without the titles and credits it is more like 10 minutes of instruction.
The video covers some good basic stretching exercises. If you have played tennis for a while you will be familiar with most of them. This tape offers some good tips - but is a far cry from being a complete regiment for tennis stretching. One of the 'experts' listed on the jacket only flashes a pictures of his 'published' books and is never seen again (he was propably on the side court giving hand signals).
If you want a good little warm up before a game this tape is o.k. - but for what you get it should sell for $ 9.99. The tennis pro in the tape does little more than nod and and say 'great'. If have no injuries and are in fair physical condition you can prefrom the exercises on this tape. If you want to pursue a full regiment of balanced stretching that increases your muscle tone, mental health and improve your tennis game (or any physical sport) look into Yoga. Yoga is devoted to muscle tone, stretching and over all well being, start at a basic level and do what feels comfortable for your abilites..... Good luck on the courts .... 'hit em' well' ....
