This set of books (all five volumes) are just plan awesome. My kindergartner is having a much easier time with her reading since we started these books. I recomend these to anyone with a child learning to read.

As a 1st grade teacher, these books are indispensable for my emerging readers who still need a short, quickie book that allows them to focus their skills on basic decoding and sight words. The pictures are a delight and the kids feel very comfortable with these. Great way to guide kids into more difficult words.

I RECOMMEND JUST THE PLAIN BOOK SETS... BUT THEY ARE REQUIRED FOR MY CHILD'S SCHOOL... AND EACH CHILD HAS HIS OWN SET...

My kids love the Bob Books. I purchased them all, I love that my kids will sit down and read them on their own without any help. They are easy and fun and help them to gain a command of sight words without the use of flashcards.

I love these Bob books. I bought sets 1-5. My boys are still on the first box and they are cruising right through. Kindergarten and first grade. It is GREAT to find a set that introduces new word families and then reinforces them. You won't be disappointed. The drawings are so simple but my kids really do relate.

I love all of the Bob Book sets. They have helped my daughter learn to read. We have paired them with Scholastic Sight Word Readers and her reading has really taken off! She will begin school in a year and a half and is already reading at a K.3 level.

These are great learning to read books. We're working our way through the whole series.

These books are great for emergent readers. If your child is struggling in Kindergarten, this is a great at-home way to help them reinforce their reading skills. I highly recommend these books as a teacher and a mom.

I had purchased Bob Books Set 1 a year ago for my granddaughter who was experiencing some difficulties with early reading skills. Most books written for "children" are really too difficult for the very earliest readers who need only a few sight words to handle at a time. Bob Book Sets have many books in them that are small enough to be carried in little purses, pockets, backpacks, etc. Now she is reading the first set very well and is ready for more small challenges. Bob Books Sets 2, 3, and 4 were my next purchases to keep the ball rolling.
