AIRED ON TV 1955-1959

A INTERESTING NOTE IS ANN B. DAVIS (ALICE, BRADY BUNCH) ALSO STARS AS THE LOVEABLE 'SHULTZY', BOB'S OFFICE ASSISTANT.

1. BOB IN ORBIT - WACKY GRANDPA FLYS HIS PLANE AND BOMBS THE BASE WHICH CAUSES A BIG MESS FOR BOB. GREAT EPISODE WITH SPFX, QUITE GOOD FOR 1950'S B&W TELEVISION SITCOMS.

2. BOB JUDGES A BEAUTY CONTEST - THE BEST OF THE 3 EPISDOES ON THE DVD. STARS PETER LAWFORD, NANCY KULP - (AKA JANE HATHAWAY BEVERLY HILLBILLIES)IN A VERY HUMOROUS ROLE TRYING TO SEDUCE BOB WEARING SWIMWEAR.

3. BOB AND THE DUMB BLONDE - SHULTZY ATTEMPTS TO SWAY BOB'S INTEREST IN HIS 'MARILYN MONROE-ISH' TEMPORARY SECRETARY.

The above quote was the famous opening line to THE BOB CUMMINGS SHOW (aka "Love That Bob"). This half-hour CBS-TV sitcom aired from 1/9/55 to 7/7/59.

Here, Ex-Air Force pilot Bob Cummings is a Beverly Hills based fashion photographer, Rosemary Ee Camp plays his sister Margaret and Ann B. Davis is secretary Schultzy, who loves her boss unrequitedly. As a result she often sabotages Bob's liasons with the many ladies and models he likes to dally with. Margaret is a busy surrogate mom to their younger brother Chuck (Dwayne Hickman), yet she still finds time to urge Bob toward settling down with one good woman.
