Great Classic Television!
I bought the entire Hope television collection - and love this snapshot of television history! Bob Hope's television specials ran for over 40 years - and are a terrific nostalgic look at the trends, politics, and stars of the times. Great clean humor to show kids so accustomed to today's fast paced and often disturbing television fare.

Great but highly edited
You'll enjoy this trip down memory lane with Bob Hope and his guests. But, beware...despite the descriptions, these shows are heavily edited and the two shows together last about an hour. For example, Perry Como's main number in the one show is edited out completely. The video quality is great, but if they advertise "two of Bob's favorite shows", then let's see the...

You'll enjoy this trip down memory lane with Bob Hope and his guests. But, beware...despite the descriptions, these shows are heavily edited and the two shows together last about an hour. For example, Perry Como's main number in the one show is edited out completely. The video quality is great, but if they advertise "two of Bob's favorite shows", then let's see the whole shows.
