My husband loved this tape, excellently illustrated! The easy way Bob Ross shows the audience how to make the water flow, and the waves crest is incredible, including the formations of mountians is wonderful and a joy to watch! Great for anyone who love to paintor those who do not paint it is a very interesting tribute to the love of Art. Bob Ross makes it look simple, by showing which brushes to use, how much paint to have on your brush, how to angle on the brush when stroking the canvas to obtain the right effect to your art project and is a great DVD for all ages!

I am very pleased with the quality of the CD's and feel they give enough information that anyone can follow and begin to paint in oils right away. I am excited to own them and hope to achieve some nice paintings following Bob Ross's technique. My order came quickly and within the time projected by Amazon.

I have only gotten through disc 1 and have a wealth of information already. I've started oil painting again and his instructions are easy to follow. I was able to do a seascape on the first try and it turned out great! I love his wet-on-wet technique. I would highly recommend this series and any Bob Ross series. Thanks Amazon. Great price too!

If you are artistically impaired as I, these videos are great. You can follow along pretty much no problem, and have a painting that looks pretty good, even the first time.

Opinion: The videos help to watch- but after you've watched the video, the books are actually easier to follow along and paint with.

Seriously - is there anything in the world more relaxing than The Joy Of Painting? I'm not an artist - I'm an average person. Bob Ross is so encouraging, I actually want to try painting a seascape. The paintings are beautiful and Ross's voice is so soothing. When I've had a rough day at work, there is nothing I find more cathartic than watching a seascape take life in 30 minutes.

I remember growing up and being fascinated watching Bob Ross paint. Each 1 hour episode was intriguing, and seemed so simplistic in the methods and art of painting. Since I am just learning a new hobby, I thought, "What better way to learn to paint?". I was not wrong. These instructional DVD's show you lots of tips and tricks to learning how to master the art of painting. This series focuses on painting sea scapes ~ which can be especially tricky, trying to capture the lighting and motion of water....

Highly recommend this series of DVD's as well as any other Bob Ross set you can get your hands on.

My husband loves Bob Ross and is so happy to finally have a DVD with some of his shows. These are awesome relaxing and entertaining videos. We only wish we could buy others like this!

The dvd Bob Ross Joy of Painting Series:Seascape was great for new and old fans of the late Mr.Ross.I know many will enjoy these lessons and learn a lot.I recommend everyone snag a copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, "the BoB" is just delightful! I have never had any formal art lessons and wanted to learn some basic techniques so I ordered the seascape series and the Joy of Painting series. Bob Ross's kind, persistant teaching method (and the rewind function) walked me through the basics in a very clear and enjoyable manner. At the end of the day I had a lovely painting to encourage more efforts. It was great! I would highly recommend this series. My sister, Mom and I did two paintings together. We had a blast and hung our paintings on the wall when all was done. Since then I have purchased more Bob Ross DVDs as gifts. So far everyone loves him and there are several more fledgling painters enjoying their new passion! Thanks, Bob!

The price was great. I have shopped around and this was by far the best price. It was a new cd, so the quality was un touched.I would order here again.
