in Chicago we have a DJ named Bob Stroud that has a show called Rock & Roll Roots. His plays many of the great 60's & early 70's songs that you don't hear that much if ever on the oldies stations. he put out a CD , Roots Vol 1". Although the CD has has some easily found tracks it does have one track that has never been on a CD -- L.A. Goodbye a great song that charted to #2 on WLS in '71 by the Chicago group The Ides of March. I got this CD the year it came out.This dosen't have a lot of tracks you could find on other CD combo's ,but it has some hard to find tracks not on other combo's and some for 1st time on CD. I got this for L.A.Goodbye by The Ides of March. I like the Local Chicago take.Being from Chicago.The sound quaility is very good also.
