Product Description

bobble is a reusable filtered water bottle that filters as you drink. bobble comes in two different sizes (18.5oz/34oz) and in a range of different filter colors to pick from. Its carbon-based filter eliminates chlorine and other organic contaminants from the water as you sip.

It is a product shaped under the philosophy of design with a purpose, striving for a sustainable future while simultaneously working to save your wallet. Engineered to change people's drinking habits by decreasing the mass consumption of single-serve water bottles (an industry costing American's $15 billion dollars a year), one bobble filter equals roughly 300 plastic water bottles.

bobble is an award-winning product created in 2009 by a small creative entrepreneurial company Move Collective LLC in New York City. bobble's sleek and sexy shape was designed by one of the world's leading industrial designers, Karim Rashid, and is the essential product for stylish filtration.

mini-bobble

bobble's appeal to children has been magnetic.

Kids are fascinated by it, loving its bright colors and wobbly shape. So we've created bobble for smaller hands. mini bobble is perfect for youngsters of all ages, holding 13oz/ 385ml of water.

We've also mixed up the filter's color schemes as well, adding four new versions; wiz bang, dribble, hopscotch and lollipop. mini bobble comes with four kid- friendly stickers to let children personalize their version. bobble helps school children and younger kids learn to make water their first choice. let's build better drinking habits and steer away from soda pop and sugar-soaked juices.

How it Works

bobble's activated carbon filter has a slight electro-positive charge, making it attractive to chemicals and impurities. As water passes over the positively charged carbon surface, the negative ions of the contaminants are drawn to, and captured by, the carbon granules. The result? Filtered water free of chlorine and other common organic contaminants.

Use & Care
directions

How it works is straightforward: fill your bobble with water and let it improve the taste of your water with each sip. When it's time to move on, recycle your filter, and dress your bobble with the next vibrant color of your choice.

Your fridge is the perfect place to store your bobble. bobble is not recommended for your freezer, and you should not expose your bobble to high levels of heat. Hand-wash your bobble regularly in warm, soapy water then leave it to dry. If damaged, replace your bobble through bobble's customer service, with proof of original purchase.

WARNING: Do not use bobble where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. bobble is intended for municipal tap water only, making water better, with every sip.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bobble Water Bottle May 24, 2010
Color Name:Green|Size Name:18.5-Ounce
This water bottle is great!! It is environmentally-friendly, budget-friendly and it looks good!

PROS:
Good for the environment!! Get one of these instead of buying cases of bottled water and you end up reducing your carbon footprint on the environment!!

It is great for those people, like me, who are wary of public drinking sources!! Great portable water bottle to bring to airports, parks, beaches, etc.!! Instead of paying the ridiculous mark-up on bottled waters at the airport, use this bottle at the water fountain!!

In getting a bobble, you save money!! Lets assume you can get a 24-pack of 0.5L Poland Spring bottled water for $5 and that you drink two to three bottles a day. Each bobble filter has to be replaced after 150L. That is comparative to 12.5 cases of water bottles or $62.50!!! With the $9.95 cost of a bobble, you save about $50 every two to three months!!

Looks stylish in a very simple way and it comes in so many different colors!

CONS:
Makes a pretty audible whooshing noise upon drinking from the bottle. Would not take this bottle anywhere where quiet and silence is appreciated.

The water stream is too thin. If you're thirsty and direly in need of water, the bobble doesn't provide you with satisfactory gulping due to its sports cap. Great for use at home and at the office but not necessarily for the gym.

3.0 out of 5 stars Water Bobble makes "whooshing" sound - not quiet May 14, 2010
Color Name:Green|Size Name:18.5-Ounce
Great concept, but this little guy is noisy. When it "inhales" it makes a distinctive "whooshing" sound. I would not bring this into a movie theater, office meeting, library, etc - it's too distracting. So I'm using mine around the house, running errands, or in the car. Water tastes great, and I've stopped buying plastic water bottles by the case, but they should work on fixing the noise. It's the only thing keeping me from buying them for everyone I know.

Awesome! But super flimsy. We use them for months at home with no issues. Water tastes really good. But a few trips on the trail and they are really destroyed. Read more
