Our third grader absolutely loves this series of books. My grandma actually had me find these for her because they were her favorites as a child. Our daughter loves the mystery and is expanding her vocabulary while comprehending some great books!

I purchased a used set and had it sent to my octogenarian aunt who had expressed a love of these books. She reads them to her grandchildren, and the set will pass to them.

To own the truth, I've never read these stories. But my aunt has fallen in love with them all over again. She is very happy to have the set, and she says that her granddaughter likes the stories, too.

(Sad to see that at the moment there is only one very expensive collector's edition set available!)

I was not a reader as a child, but remember these being very popular when I was @ the age for them in the late 1960s/early 1970s; I am so thankful that my 11 yr old 5th gr daughter is a reader; my mother-in-law got the 1st 12 Bobbsey Twins set for her for a gift over a yr ago; they are below her reading level, but fun to have around for a quick easy entertaining reading; she likes "vintage" as well as modern things; she is also a fan of the Boxcar Children & Three Cousins Detective Club series, & this appeals in the same wholesome way

Books were purchase for granddaughter. She is thrilled with them. Arrived in good condition and in a timely manner.

I purchased this entire set for my daughter. She has enjoyed each of these classics. She has been so interested in them that the time spent completing a book has been minimal. I would highly recommend these mysteries for elementary school children.

The set is newer than what I was expecting but nicely bound. Haven't had time to re-read any of the stories before passing them around to my great grandchildren.

Arrived in great condition and on time.

The books were in okay shape, but the person selling them really took advantage, I think. I was charged $50 plus for the books. When I received them the price on them said $1.00 each -- They are for my granddaughter so I didn't return them, but will hesitate to buy from market place again - My experience was that I was taken advantage of.
