For all Bobby Sherman Lovers...past and present!,
By Karen E. Murray (Ct., USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
If you have ever loved Bobby Sherman, you have to read this book! Great insights into his life, personally, and professionally. Throughout the whole thing, I kept trying to figure out how old I was when he was going through a particular experience , and what my personal opinion was at the time in terms of the stories he tells about his life, such as, how I felt seeing him on Here Comes The Brides, or the first time I heard a hit song of his, or when I heard he got married, etc. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane, and makes me love him now even more than I did as a kid because he has really made something of his life beyond stardom in terms of his work with the L.A. Police Department.I think you'll enjoy reading it. I know I sure did! And it makes a great gift for a Bobby Sherman fan in your life.

A wonderful book about a wonderful man,

This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
This is a wonderful book about a wonderful man. I'm a new fan and I read this book cover-to-cover and loved every page of it. Bobby's fans are a loyal and friendly lot and I can see why their devotion has never dimmed in 30 years. Dena Hill deserves a real hand for this book. It satisfies the soul and answers the questions all fans have--and does it with taste, style, and respect that are so rare nowadays. I look forward to reading any future works by her or by Bobby Sherman. This book is a must-read!

good stuff,

Nice, pleasant. Could have been longer but Bobby strikes me as a nice guy who may not be over-reflective or of the mind that there are limits to what anyone needs to know about his private life.

It made me love Bobby all over again!,
This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
Bobby Sherman's book is warm, compassionate and caring like him. I really love his intimate stories about his dad and mom, sister and fans. He should write a sequel like Davy Jones is printing, to update his career, now that he is part of the Teen Idol Tour or Herman,Sherman and Jones. At 55, he is still a hunk!!!!!I have him linked on my website

One of the best books I've ever read about Bobby Sherman,
By A Customer
This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
This book was one of the very few that I couldn't put down until I finished reading it. It answered many of the questions that I had through the years of being a Bobby fan that no one else could've answered for me. Thank You Bobby and Dena for the wonderful look into your life, good times as well as bad. I've come to realize that this wonderful man that I had such a huge crush on many years ago is exactly the man I always envisioned. Kind, thoughtful, loving and a true gentleman. Nice to know that I wasn't wrong about him. Dena did an excellent job with everything Bobby gave her to work with. So nice having a little bit of the past to remember as well as having a little bit of the present to keep me updated on about Bobbys' life. Thank You Very Much.

Still Remembering Bobby,
By A Customer
This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
If you are a woman "of a certain age", or even a man
and you have fond memories of "Shindig" or "Here Come
the Brides", or you still remember all the words to
"Julie Do Ya Love Me", you're a Bobby Sherman fan.
Join the party, you're not alone, and you need this
book!! It will bring back so many warm memories of
a simpler time in your life. When all you had to worry
about was whether you had enough Clearasil, was the new
16 magazine out yet, and what were you gonna wear to
school. Bobby talks about his happy childhood, brought
up in a warm, loving, hard working family. He also covers
the time leading up to his contract to be on "Shindig", and
his time on that show, as well as "Here Come the Brides".
He talks fondly of his time on the road when he was at
the peak of his recording career. But I think the best
parts of the book deal with his marriage, his sons, and
his candor in talking about how he dealt with the breakup
of his marriage. Of course, everyone who knows anything
about Bobby knows he is now an EMT and very much involved
in LA's training programs for the same. He goes into detail
about this part of his life, and it makes for interesting
reading. This is an upbeat memoir, and makes for a great
trip down memory lane. But more than that, it's a lovely
affirmation of what so many of us have known for a long
time, Bobby Sherman IS a good man. I'm proud to be a fan!

BOBBY SHERMAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN A CLASS ACT!!!!,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bobby Sherman : Still Remembering You (Paperback)
I recently purchased this wonderful book and am so delighted with it!!! It really does take you back in time to Bobby Sherman's early days - from babyhood on - in his own words - to his present life as an EMT instructor for the Los Angeles Police Department. It is filled with fabulous pictures, as well. He is as wonderful a man as I had always thought he was -kind, compassionate and GENUINE! Back in my teeny-bopper days, I, like so many young females, had a crush on him. I enjoyed listening to his songs, beginning with "Little Woman," and reading articles on him in the fan magazines. He was also a very good actor, as those of you who enjoyed viewing him on his TV classic, "Here Come the Brides", can testify. He is a man of many talents and, yet, has maintained a sweet, almost humble, personality through the years. That is amazing to me. Yet, he is very aware of the loyalty and love which his fans have kept for him through the years, and he admits he dearly cherishes those gifts. Bobby, we dearly cherish your gifts to us through the years, as well. You deserve to be recognized - and loved - for the very special person whom you have always been!!! For those of you who have had any kind of affection or admiration for Bobby Sherman - past or present - this book is guaranteed to warm your heart and soul!!! It is absolutely wonderful - just like him!! God bless you, Bobby!! I love you!

Thanks, Bobby, for saving lives, on and off screen!,

This book answered questions a lot of fans had all those years ago (are we that old?!). I think the content of this book must reflect the true nature of the person. Telling one's life story is not an easy task, but you and Dena Hill did a remarkable job. Reading this book was both fun and sad; we all have similar moments in our lives and it was nice to share yours, in a sense. Thanks for remembering your fans; we will remember you always and cherish our memories.
