This is a good DVD but unfortunately there's no information about when and where it was recorded. I had to search the net to discover this was recorded during a UK tour in 1991. The concert parts are excellent. The image of backstages and hotel scenes is not so good.

I was very disappointed with this DVD purchase. Picture quality was terrible, singing was so, so. Some of the interviews, I did not understand what he was saying. I really wanted to rate this a 0. I will stick with my CD's of the "Poet."

My other recent purchases of DVD's, Marvin Gaye & Teddy Pendergrass were a 10. I would also recommend Smokey Robinson's Greatest Hits.

Bobby Womack is a slept On Musical Talent. He is the Link Between Sam Cooke&R.kelly. a strogn Songwriter,Producer&Guitar Player. the only knock on this release is what year this is from. but it seems like 1991 upon further review. Bobby's band was on point. Bobby Backstage&at the Hotel had me rolling. Bobby Womack is truly a Card. Brother man with his rapping on stage mixed in with his vocals&then off camera he cracks me up big time. on stage He blended different styles because He has the Gospel in his Thing from the Word Jump, along with R&B,Pop&other Stylings. Bobby womack is one of the most Underrated Artists Ever. Brother Man speaks his mind.He will crack you up.
