This is an excellent collection of Puerto Rico's best. It takes you back in the early stages of new guaguanco rythim in the late seventees; dancible salsa with song, not just salsa. Bravo for Bobby and his orchestra.

This man is incredible and what he does with the bass guitar WOW! great collection by another musical genious.I can listen to this album from start to finish with out skipping a track.This album is INCREDIBLE!

Bobby Valentin was a key member of the legendary Fania All Stars and he also recorded some excellent albums that feature Marvin Santiago and Frankie Hernandez on lead vocals. "Total Para Nada", "Huracan", "Beso Borracho", "Son Son Charari", "Papel De Payaso" and "Soy Boricua" are all included on this excellent compilation which is an indispensable part of any 1970s Salsa fan's library.
