I was very skeptical on purchasing a couch on the internet, but price was good and I couldn't find the right color and size sectional that I was looking for at any furniture store. After reading bad reviews about purchasing the couch from other vendors and shipping nightmares, I decided to pay extra and purchase the couch from Amazon and get free shipping. The three boxes made it into my house at the estimated delivery date (deliverd by ABF) without too much challenge. I had to make it up a flight of right angle stairs into a 2nd floor apartment. I can see that the assembly might be a pain for some people because the directions are just pictures. But if your familiar with bolts, locks nuts, and washers its pretty self-explanatory. The couch is light, wood isn't of the best material, but it seems like it is well built and sturdy. The couch shouldn't break unless someone where to cannonball on it. Cushions are very comfortable and seem to be made from good material. It does look really good in my living room. Some rubber feet on the bottom of the legs is necessary if it is going to be on a hard wood floor because it can slide around. The cushions are not reversible so don't spill and they could also use some velcro because they can also slide out. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and wouldn't discourage anyone from buying.

First I'd like to announce once again that the shipping company used by Visiondecor is horrible (Baileys)! Not only was it late; they also came to my city just twice a month. (im in cheyenne, wy the capitol of the state btw) i ordered it on 29 Jan 2010 and received it today on 11 Mar 2010!

the furniture itself is beautiful! i made my rating based off of this alone. (Visiondecor just needs a new shipping company). they also promised to refund me the cost of shipping which was $228 for the hassle. I paid about $460 for my couch here on Amazon and as soon as i did they raised the price to $999! i wouldnt pay that much for it! the material and color is nice! the chaise is reversible which is a good thing except for the fact that the two pieces of the actual sectional (the chaise and the couch part) dont connect! and im guessing that it is for decorative reasons! but i have a few ideas to solve that. hopefully it works!
putting it together alone took me about 1.5-2 hours! really easy once you figure out the instructions. which were pics only and small ones at that! but it shows both the right chaise and the left chaise instructions! it is a little stiff but with use i believe it will become more comfortable!
the shipment is 3 boxes total! the ottoman, the chaise and the actual couch part all in their own box with the pillows stuffed in the bases! the color is exactly as seen in the picture and no sure if this is real leather (i dont think so) but its not so bad)! hope this helps!

Disappointed in how long it took to get delivered. Ordered on 11-21 and did not get delivered until 12-11 plus delivery was 1 1/2 hrs late. There was a defect with the chaise lounge (wood cracked by one of the screw holes). Does require assembly. Like the furniture, very comfy. Disappointed with delivery time and defect.

When this item was delivered the packaging was already suspect. After I assembled the furniture, literally right after warranty it broke. I inspected the damage and it turns out it was made with rotten wood. I informed the seller. I sent them pictures of the rotten wood and the best they could offer was paying half the repair fee. I am never buying from them again and I urge you to do the same.

Look a the photograph of this sofa. What you see is exactly what you get. My review in a nutshell -- Two thumbs up. If you buy it, you're gonna be happy with it.

I ordered this product and received in within about 10 days of my order. It was shipped from LA to Atlanta, which is a very reasonable time frame for my freight cost. I ordered it on a weekend, and on the next weekday, it shipped. I received an email notification of my order status from Amazon, and was able to track my freight progress from the shipping company's website. When it arrived in Atlanta, the freight company contacted me to schedule a delivery date and time. The driver was about an hour early on the scheduled date, but I was home to take the delivery.

The product was packaged well and there was no damage to any of the contents. It arrived in 3 boxes -- 2 large boxes (sofa and chaise), and one small box(the ottoman). The driver used a dolly to bring the packages within 5 feet of my front door. From there, I just unpacked them and brought them into my apartment, and put the empty boxes in the back of my truck to take to the dumpster later. The sofa was simple and intuitive to assemble. It took me, maybe 2 hours to get everything unpacked and assembled. I didn't have any problems. This sofa looks GREAT in my living room. After reading some of the negative reviews here, I was a little bit worried that things wouldn't go well. None of these bad things happened to me, and I would imagine the problems people had in their negative reviews are infrequent (you know how it is, the people who have problems are the most likely people to post feedback).

The product is sturdy and well-designed, and the cushions are firm. The fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch. It's not one of those couches that you sink into with an odd posture when you sit on it. I am a junky on the XBox playing MLB, Tetris, Poker, watching movies, etc., and I have found it a very comfortable place to spend my couch potato time. Based on my experience and the quality and great esthetic appearance of this sofa, I cannot imagine why anyone would want to spend $1500-$2000+ on similar products in furniture stores. Unless you're really into "keeping up with the Jones's" and paying for the fluffery of marketing hype, this sofa is all of that, without the buyer's remorse on the price tag. This is a sofa, and it is as good of quality as any other sofa I've owned. I bought it because to me, this is how much money a sofa is worth, and that was what I was willing to pay for it. So I bought it, and I'm very happy with it.

The manufacturer includes a guide to care and maintain the furniture, which includes a weekly rotation of cushions to ensure it wears and breaks in evenly, cleaning instructions, etc. If I had to take a guess, I would imagine the people who talked about unevenly worn cushions in the negative reviews didn't follow the proper care guidelines. There are also guidelines for cleaning and stains, but I'll probably scotch-guard the fabric anyway. Add a polish for vinyl or faux leather, and it looks really nice.

I recently ordered this item from Vision decor furniture and they DO NOT have this item in stock, although they will say that they do. I waited over 2 weeks for this item to be shipped, but VISIONDECOR did NOT send this item... in fact they waited 2 weeks after I called them a few times about this order..... 2 whole weeks to tell me that they did not have this product in any of the colors... they also offer NO type of support what so ever. I could've ordered this from somewhere that DOES have this product in stock, but they lied.

my husband and I purchased this only to find it being sold locally for $400. :( Big let down. Did not even send the right colors, and can't contact for a return. DON'T BUY

My husband and I waited 5 days for this sofa, which we were so excited to get. Well, it never came on the due date. If we did not contact the seller, we never would have known that they were having problems contacting us. They said that they emailed me about a delivery confirmation. Right! I never received any correspondence from them and they didn't even attempt to contact me by mail. What bothered us the most is that the seller did not even try to make amends or resolve, we were just inconvenienced and left hi and dry. What a disappointment. We really wanted this furniture set - now we have to start our search for a living room set all over again. I would definately NOT recommend using the seller to purchase this item.

First let me say I was thrilled to see that a sofa sectional was available- that I liked under 1k bucks. I'm a undergrad on my own for the first time and my parents aren't flipping the bill anymore so this made my heart skip for joy. I bought it at a wonderful price in a saddle finish from Visiondecor. I recieved my confirmation almost immediately. I purchased it at the beginning of the week or the end of the previous... in any case it was to be shipped at the end of that week and arrive sometime the next. Come to find out hadn't been shipped out until the following monday and didn't arrive until like days later- I wanna say the next monday. Either way I was incredibly dissapointed- more like pissed. I wouldn't have know until they gave me a call that Monday to tell me. So I had to adjust my schedule. The delivery people were wonderful, i don't believe that Visiondecor had mucb to do with that.

The sofa is wonderful. The assembly is easy once you figure out what they mean... its completely visual... no step by step written directions. And don't freak out when you open the box like I did. The sofa seats are inside of the base of the furniture, it has a velcro bottom.
The sofa goes well in my decent size 2 bedroom apartment. And pretty comfy. Its a great starter piece for someone just starting out or a newly wed couple etc. JUST BEWARE OF THE ISSUES WITH SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY SCHEDULING... apparently they won't be there when they say they will.

Most online furniture only retailers don't have stores/warehouses. What they do is take your order, process payment THEN order it directly from the manufacturer, wait for it to come in to their trucking site THEN schedule a delivery with you. What they do before this is just stalling tactics to keep you thinking they are a furniture business with stock in their inventory. NEVER the case.
