WTH!?! I loved these bars when I purchased them recently from Whole Foods. The price per bar was a bit steep so I ventured onto Google to see if I could purchase in bulk at a discount. That quick internet search revealed that a 2010 Food Safety News Article warns against dirty and unsafe manufacturing conditions, specifically "words used to describe manufacturing practices include “rodent excreta” and “urine stains.” Its ingredients and finished food products are “adulterated,” which is government speak for impure." The remainder of the article can be found here: http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2010/04/bobos-oat-bars-called-adulterated/#.VNWHwOlCLmQ
Unless there has been a significant update to these 2010 findings, I say, buyer beware.
