Bob & Margaret is a Canadian product, only 4 seasons (first 2 the best) about a married couple, one a dentist, the other a chiropodist, with 2 dogs instead of any kids. They are very "average" which makes the series so good. They confront real situations, such as Episode 1 where the house is burglarized while the 2 dogs just watch! Then there is the insurance claim, etc. Very well written. Give it a try.
