My son is almost 2 years old, and I have been reading to him every night for over a year now. I picked up this 'toolkit' from a local retailer (for the list price) several months ago, and these were a must for him every night for a very long time. He loves picking out each book from the toolbox for me to read, then putting them all away in the toolbox when we are finished. They are great short stories for little minds :)

These books are short and the wording is dull. The durability of the board books themselves apppears to be okay. My almost two year old loves the fact that the books are in the shape of tools and that his favorite "Bob the Bob" is seen in them!

The box itself should NOT be seen as part of the toy. The front of one of the snaps came off during shipment and that would have certainly become a choking hazard had it happened while being played with. I decided to throw the "tool box" away and just hold onto the books.

It does seem impossible to replace individual books from the set as the books are sold in a set ONLY. The exact wording on the back of the books are: This book is part of a package and is not sold seperately.

My son loves these books so much that we have had to replace the saw and wrench book because he brings them with him everywhere we go and has since the age of one. If your child likes Bob, then these books are a must have.

I originally bought this for my friends son, but ended up keeping it for
mine. It's so cute...There are 4 BOB THE BUILDER books in it and they are
shaped like hammer, wrench, saw and screw driver. Each of them tell a
cute little "BOB" story. My son loves them.

I bought Bob's busy toolbox for my 2 year old nephew, he loved it and takes it everywhere with him. The books are well made, the box is corrugated cardboard but still durable for the price. I am very pleased with it an most importantly so was my little nephew..

You really get your money's worth with this set! It includes not one, but 4 little cardboard books inside a cardboard toolbox. The books are colorful & sturdy cardboard & the toolbox is not only handy for storing the books in, but my 1 year old grandson loves to carry it around & open & close it. And the small "tool shaped" books are small enough for little hands to handle easily. A nice little set!

My 1 1/2 year old son loves Bob the Builder. He just loves these books. We take these books and put a few small Bob trucks in the toolbox whenever we go out to eat. He carries the box and the books and trucks keep him happy while we eat.

Books: Book set is great. It comes already packaged and ready to give as a gift. Any little boy or girl will love this addition to their library.

Seller: Bought item from dvdlegacy as a "new" item. Item arrived timely, however, box looks worn, does not appear "new" it appears slightly used, please be worn. I will not buy again from this seller.

My 3-year old grandson loves these Bob the Builder books. He carries them around and pretends he is working with them saying, "Yes, I can!" The shapes and colors are great, I just wish there was more of a written story in the books -- they read too quickly. My grandson is learning how to make up stories of his own, however, and the hammer, wrench, screw driver and saw shapes help him with that.

My Son loved tool box! The only negative thing I can say is that the actual tool box is not very sturdy, my son broke the lid in the first week!
