3.0 out of 5 stars not bad for the price, May 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These arent bad, the padding is nice and comfy, they sit well on my face. I feel like i have a larger head but thats prolly just my ego haha. The style looks good, i wish however that they had wrap around ear piece instead of the traditional style but i can understand why they have that as they are for riding etc. The lenses are in there solid but i havent tried to change them out yet. I did try to take one of the arms off, they didnt come with instructions but it seems fairly obvious, from what i can tell they just pivot out and then you can stick the goggle band in the vacant slot, however i have not been able to get the arm out as it seems to require so much pressure im affraid ill break them. Since trying this the one arm is a bit loose and moves up and down more easily than the other side so I would probably not get this style again and just go with the other pair of bobsters i saw with wrap around arms, even though i do like the easy change lenses.

These goggles set the standard. lens for day or night, tight seal. Rubber wears out after a while and pron to scratching if not careful.

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay goggles, but not great, January 10, 2011

So it's kinda like this...these are very convertible goggles. You can switch the lenses from clear to smoke to amber and also switch from a headband to regular arms on the sides. The only problem is that none of these things are easy to do. It almost feels like something is going to break if you changed any of these on a regular basis. Basically, I leave mine set up with the headstrap and amber lens. Without the headstrap, they really don't keep enough wind out of your eyes to safely ride and changing the lenses is just a hassle. The case provided doesn't have enough room for the glasses and all the accessories either, so you can't carry all the stuff around with you anyway.

So here's the bottom line, instead of spending $ on this kit, I would just buy two sets or regular goggles (one for day and one for night) and do it that way. It might even be more cost effective. These aren't bad goggles, but what's the point in buying something with a whole bunch of accessories if the accessories are that difficult to use?
