A wonderful resource for teaching science,

A teacher at my Head Start center received one of these microscopes from a grant. The children (3-5 years old) LOVE it. We hook it to the computer in our classroom and they find all kinds of things they want to look at. The default lens (50x I think) is perfect for them because the image still resembles the object. They love to look at their skin and ears. Any adult walking by gets mesmerized and wants to try it out. It is truly one of the objects in my classroom that is just as fascinating for me as it is for the children. This is a big purchase but we love ours so much. We just found a little more money to purchase the one that works with our ipad!
