great coffee, pot going strong
I have had this product for more than 18 months. It is used frequently. It's attractive (more so than the old Chemex), makes great coffee and is environmentally correct. I paid $39 and would do so, happily, again. It's a great bargain at half that price.

Excellent tasting coffee, fragile glass pot
I was thrilled with this one and used it happily for 2 months. Then, this morning it developed a star crack in the, admittedly, very thin glass. So now I am left with the gold filter. Don't buy this one as the design should be heavier for a longer life.

The Bodum Kona fits the demand for a simple non electric manual dripper. Its capacity ( 32 ounces) is large enough to fill my thermos for a day at work. The Swiss really are a perfect society providing the world with quality tools that perform as expected. To buy a Bodum Kona Coffee Maker is to vote for a Free World with elegant and useful products.
