Does not live up to my expectations,
By Good points: very large hopper for the beans. Very durable. Bad points: Does not grind fine enough. Is not consistent (Often results in dust & boulders). Very small receptacle for the ground coffee. Some of the ground coffee gets stuck inside the chute leading to the ground coffee receptacle and has to be cleaned out.

This is an excellent day to day grinder for coffee. I've had it for 30 days and use it every day. No problems so far and it is very easy to use. There are only a couple of negatives that I can identify. This unit uses a timer to determine how much coffee will be ground. The max is 40 seconds and it is just a little bit too short to grind enough grounds for a 12 cup drip coffee maker. So, you have to reset the timer to approximately 15 more seconds to get enough for a whole pot. The only other complaint I have is that a lot of static builds up from grinding and when the bin is removed a good bit of coffee jumps out onto the counter making a small mess. The adjustments are very good and lots of positions for different coarseness settings are available and it is easy to see the markings. It is a very attractive device as well. Very neat and contemporary styling. The coffee ground by this machine tastes excellent and never has a burnt flavor or any other off tastes. I have read that it is not adequate for espresso but I cannot verify that as I do not use it for espresso.

Perfect grinder for drip coffee,

This review is from: Bodum Antigua Electric Burr Grinder + Grindz Coffee Grinder Cleaner (Misc.)
I have been using this grinder for more than a year now for day to day grinding to prepare drip coffee for the breakfast. The preparation has become sort of a ritual (combined with getting the Bodum glass jar with the cofee beans out of the fridge) and the device has not let me down yet. I especially like the on/off button on the back side and the big container for the beans. The device was bought in the U.S. and I am using it with a power converter (110V to 220V), still works fine.
