I've bought just about every configuration. Big, small, with a handle without. They are somewhat delicate. You can tell that by just looking at them. When you have them in your hand you can tell from the feel that you can't be banging them around. The only warnings I've seen from other reviewers is how easy they break. Folks break them squeezing them into a dishwasher, or stirring their hot chocolate and coffee with too much gusto. I say .... if you don't have the "time" for nice things you shouldn't buy them. Take care when stirring and hand wash them and you'll have them for a very long time. I luv em bodums!
