My new favorite mug!,

This little cup is wonderful for lovers of loose tea. I have to disagree with another reviewer who found it hard to clean the little slits on the bottom; I have had absolutely no trouble with this - a couple of quick rinses gets all the tea leaves out, and none have become impossibly stuck. I really love the design - especially that you can remove the inner glass with the wet tea leaves and place it into the lid - no more waiting around by the sink to dump out the tea leaves after steeping, I can just bring the whole thing to the table as soon as I pour the water in. It is also very delicate and attractive. Truly a wonderful product!

NOT hard to clean.,

I got a Da Chine teapot and I love it! When I purchased, I was only able to read one other product review online about it and it complained about bits of tea getting stuck in the filter and they sent theirs back. I didn't pay attention to the warning, and I'm glad that I didn't. The solution to the filter problem is simple and I love being able to watch my tea brew through the layers of glass! The wrong way: fill filter with tea, and pour water through the filter - this forces bits into the holes. The solution is to simply fill the cup with hot water and fill the filter with tea, then put the filter into the pot. This way no leaves are forced into the holes and clean up is easy. Even when you do it the wrong way, it's not hard to unstick stuck leaves with a kitchen brush.Love it.

Great (but not flawless) infuser.,
This review is from: Bodum The de Chine Personal Tea Glass With Filter (Kitchen)
I use this nearly every day for drinking tea. It's a great infused and cup set. Looks really nice, and shows off the color of the tea and leaves. Also, the wide infuser gives lots of room for the leaves to circulate. The lid also works well a a tray to hold the infuser and catch drips. There are a few things that could be improved. As other people have mentioned, it's a bit time consuming to clean, because the leaves get stuck in the slits, especially smaller leaf teas. I've found holding the slits right up to the running tap can usually push the stubborn leaves out. The other problem is that the lid and infuser can get quite hot if your brewing a black tea (with boiling temperature water) making it kind of tricky to remove one it's done infusing without burning your fingers. Recommended for green or white teas over black teas.
