This mug is well worth the wait....most coffee mugs are solid, have cute designs or clever sayings on them. But this transparent cup allows you to see exactly how well your tea is steeping or if there is extra mix or sugar clumped at the bottom, and allows for better mixing and measuring of sugar/milk/honey or whichever. Nothing is between you & your drink...it's fantastic! It is fairly thick, and holds more liquid than the average mug. For that reason, you may have to add less water or an extra teabag/spoonful so the drink is not too weak. It did take about three weeks for my cup to arrive.
