If you like lukewarm coffee...,

I was very excited when I bought this because I loved my original Bodum French press - my only complaint with my original one was that it didn't keep the coffee hot. Since this was my same beloved French press and it claimed to fix the not-hot coffee problem, I was thrilled. Well, whether my expectations were too high or not, the coffee does not stay hot. It stays hot longer than my original Bodum, but maybe for 30 minutes. After that, it's lukewarm at best. And the container gets lot's of trapped coffee grounds between the exterior holder and the interior carafe, even after washing. It's rather unslightly.

We love this press! The glass carafe is protected by the frame. It all goes in the dishwasher. The lid seals, and pours without leaking a drop. The coffee stays hot through a long breakfast.
