Product Description

Amazon.com Review

For those who want foamy milk with their coffee without the hassle of an espresso machine, this frother does the trick. Heated milk in a glass or cup whips up instantly into the perfect froth with this handheld device. Simply switch on and the flexible stainless-steel wand with plastic blade rotates vigorously. Also works well for blending chocolate drink mix or protein powder into cold milk. Lightweight and easily cleaned, this 8-3/4-inch frother travels handily to the office or in a suitcase. Bodum has long been a leading designer of innovative coffee makers and other kitchen products. --Ann Bieri

Product Description

The Bodum Turbo Frother froths milk quickly and easily, allowing you to make barista quality drinks at home. Simply insert the whip end into cold milk and then push the on button. The Bodum Turbo Frother whips into action, creating a nice froth that will last longer than froth made with a machine because you haven't introduced steam and water to froth the milk. Can be used on warm or cold milk, but it works better on cold.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the aerolatte, April 8, 2003
By

Seeing the low price, I bought one of these to replace my ageing aerolatte milk frother. A mistake. It doesn't look as nice, last as long or, more importantly, froth as well or as quickly. A false economy. Sorry, Bodum, you may be great in french presses but the sepcialist aerolatte company seems to do this sort of thing a lot, lot more effectively.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where is the froth??, August 26, 2003
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I used to have a Bodum Aerius tall milk frother. I loved it. It was simple, didn't use batteries, and made great froth. A friend of mine loved it so much I gave it to her when she left for overseas. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued.

I received this frother as a free bonus on Amazon. As the other reviewers have indicted, it doesn't have a manual. I did figure out how to put the batteries in, but after a few attempts I am REALLY disappointed in the froth. It went down immidiately after I removed the frother -- I had "frothed" it for a good 2 minutes. That was more than enough for my old hand opperated frother. As I indicated, I received this frother for free. If I had paid for it, I would certainly return it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money, August 23, 2003

Thank goodness I got this so-called frother for free when I purchased my new Cuisinart coffee maker or else I'd be upset. This thing is like a child's toy. It's messy and worse yet: ineffective. Do not, repeat, NOT waste your money on this thing.
