Yeah, so i smashed my original beaker (accident of course!) and wanted a replacement because this became my go-to for making coffee. It was a perfect if not agonizingly close fit with the metal brace. Glad they make these for clumsy people like me.

I bought this to replace my broken Carafe. I am no going on my third replacement. It fits fine and I love my French Press, it is pricey but, what are you going to do? Also it is 8 cups if you only drink small cups of coffee. It is more of a regular 4 cups...or even less. I had two, both carafes broke now I only have the one and but I will wait to replace the other one, just too expensive.
