I love these glasses.
- Cold beverages seem extra cold on the first drink (great for milk, beer, lemonade, etc.).
- Cold beverages don't sweat on the outside (no more rings on the table).
- Cold beverages stay cold for a long time! No luke-warm drinks.
- Hot beverages stay hot too.
- These glasses look cool, and are a real conversation piece (the liquid appears to be floating inside).
- It's great to be able to stack these glasses (saving room in your cupboards). The stacking ridge also makes these easier to hold than some of the other styles.

Bodum suggests caution with anything hard in the glass (such as a spoon or ice). These glasses are light weight to the touch, but because of the special material they are made of they are stronger than it seems at first.

I agree with the previous reviewer that the Bodum glasses are simply too fragile. They are beautiful, but for the price per glass, I am going to keep looking for a dishwasher safe thermal glass. I have owned 12 of these glasses and have only 5 left. Aargh.

I have to say that I am highly impressed with these glasses. They're great looking and are real conversation pieces. Plus they WORK! Drinks stay cold yet they don't condense water on the outside so there are no ruined tables where your guests forgot to use a coaster. Sure they're glass and yes they will break if you drop them in a sink or on a marble countertop, but I would certainly not characterize them as "fragile". Treat them like any other expensive glassware and they should last a long time. If you're looking for heavy-duty bang-around kitchen mugs, these aren't for you. If you're looking for glassy glassware that is high tech and functional, these are terrific!

when i saw bodum... first thought is stylish and quality. but when i opened the box, these glasses are thin and flimsy. within 2 days, i broke one of them. the glass fell and hit the sink as i was washing it under running water.
for what its worth, it does seem to keep cold drinks colder longer. i just wish it was more durable.

I bought a couple just to test them after reading some reviews of people having them break. If you use them as an ice-scoop, maybe. I threw out all my other cups and bought like 6 pairs of these. I bought the smaller ones too. They stack and help avoid cup clutter in the cabinet, yea you know what I mean. Just get these trust me. If you're drinking out of plastic cups, toss them. Water and anything tastes much better cold and in glass. These wash beautfully in the dishwasher too. Another bonus - they don't sweat so you don't need a coaster - ever again.

Already broke one just by dispensing ice from the fridge. Apparently you have to gently place the cubes of ice into the glass or the inside will break.

I absolutly love these glasses they are a pleasure to use , they are attractive in presentation and practicle in use!!
I would recommend them to anyone !! Amazon is a great soucre for this product.

These are really great glasses - I purchased about 16 of them for everyday use and have had them since before Christmas - they keep drinks cold and no condensation rings on the furniture. So practical. I also ordered the coffee mugs and just love them too.

These are great glasses. They keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold without sweating. They do their job wonderfully.

But they should be treated like you would treat your expensive wine glasses for example. We've broken about 3... all from ice cubes dropping from the freezer door automatic ice cube dispenser. And those were visitors kids getting ice for their drinks. These are not your everyday "knock around, growing family" glasses.

These are fairly expensive high end glasses and if you buy them with that in mind and treat them as such, you will be happy with these glasses.
