This is heavy duty glass that is manufactured with care! It is very hard to find glass that is free of stress marks (either hazyness or fine lines) but this whole line is totally clear and uniform from piece to piece. I have been using the plates and love them. The bowls and glasses are also available. Check out the bodum website to see the whole line.
