Heather Porter's Body Back is such a refreshing change to anything else out there. Her advice is upfront and honest - something we all deserve. Not only is this the perfect companion for any new mother but it is also an old friend for a mother of many years - with teenagers! It belongs next to your medical dictionary or on your bedside table. It's the perfect gift.

If only author Heather Porter had written this book after I'd had my first child! Body Back should be the mandatory companion book to What to Expect When Expecting. It's the Bible to after Baby in my opinion, and its tagline is simple and personal: "Helping you feel like a woman again."

Because you remember what you felt like after you had your first child, right? Certainly, you might have felt like a mother, but you didn't really felt like a woman, and definitely not like that woman you once were.

Body Back is a complete encyclopedia of all the things you need to know about to get yourself to feeling back to normal after having your child, or children. It's got chapters on every aspect you'd ever want to focus on about your body to get you back to where you want to be, even if perhaps you weren't quite there before you had your babies.

With close to 400 pages including illustrations and four-color photos, body back tips on practically every page and great suggestions you'd never in your life consider, Body Back is full of ideas to get you back on track to feeling better than you ever felt.

Body Back seriously covers every aspect you would consider when you're ready to make a change to finding your old self. Remember, if you don't focus on yourself, how can you be the best mother to your children? That's right, you can't! So take some time to get your Body Back and feel the best you possibly can.

If you are a parent you know how much your body changes after pregnancy and birth and just being a mom. I got sagging skin, a pot belly, wrinkles, my hair is so messed up, extra padded around and not to mention the not so perky boobs anymore. Yep I am not that perfect thin firm perky body I was 14 years ago but hey I got kids out of the deal right haha. So who wants to live with all that now your done with having the kid and babies? I don't and I know with the big health kicks everyone is on they don't want to either. So I got some good news for you. There is this awesome book called BODY BACK: The Mother's Handbook to Medical, Physical, and Emotional Well Being. This book I couldn't put down. It had so much info. I have taken nutrition and biology and anatomy in college and I have learned alot about the body and its needs and what surprised me most about this book is it was dead on in what it says to try and do and the whys. I learned even more then I thought I could learn and I cant wait to try some things out. I want to try the one day raw food diet cleanse and some of the awesome exercises and menus plans. So check this out its available at Amazon, Barnes and noble and more. So get it today you will be glad you did!

More About the Author

As a mother of four, Heather Porter knows what it is like to watch your body fall apart after pregnancy. Over the years, she searched for a single manual for the female body, a mother's encyclopedia. When she could not find anything like it on the market, she set out to write it herself.

Heather recalls, "For me, it wasn't just about shedding the pregnancy pounds but about learning how to be attractive and healthy, both emotionally and physically again."

What followed was a journey of self-improvement, with plenty of highs and lows along the way. She tried the A-Z of exercises and treatments, some resulting in hilarious stories, from spinning to colon hydrotherapy, from yoga to wheatgrass drinks. Heather kept a diary that documented her thoughts and experiences and noted what worked and what didn't.

By sticking to her regime, she began to reap the rewards as the pounds shifted and her overall well‑being improved.
