Product Description

The rechargeable Body Bare revolutionary, Intimate Area Razor is a second-generation, newly designed rotary-head, hair removal instrument specifically for Dare to be Bare aficionados. It is specifically for daily shaving, after the longer hair has been trimmed down to "stubble / fuzz" as it will not shave longer hair, we recommend it with the Ladyfair or Feminine trimmer for trimming the longer hairs first. We recomend the Feminine Trimmer. This trimmer will never nick. The Ladyfair may nick if the skin is not pulled taut. The solid aluminum frame has a sturdy aluminum cap to protect the High-Tech shaving foil and a handy carrying cover. The second-generation foil is thinner than previous product foils, resulting in even closer shaves. It does not bite, cause bumps, discomfort or ingrown hairs. This is the BEST WOMEN or MEN'S razor in the world! It is one of our families specialized razors that will not "bite" your personal areas! It must be used with baby or talcum powder (not included) for a perfect "BUFF" shave. The Body Bare comes with instructions, travel case and cleaning brush. Not intended for shaving legs. Baby powder is NOT included. The Ladyfair trimmer is FREE when you buy the Body Bare. 1 year Manufacturers guarantee against defects. The Ladyfair is not intended for testicle use. For testicles use the Feminine trimmer and Body Bare Shaver.

Customer Reviews

Talk about amazing customer service.

This shaver specifically says it only works on stubble length hair...so, to test it fairly, I first shaved my legs with a razor.

This shaver does not provide a very close shave.

I was a HUGE fan of the Feather Touch razor with its phenomenal ability to produce a baby soft shave. So when I discovered there was an updated version with a rechargeable battery, I jumped right on it.

The new sleek design is definitely appealing, however, that's about where the appeal ends. First of all, the shave itself was not nearly as close as the original version. I went over the same areas over and over, yet this version was unable to give me the same close shave as its predecessor.

The worst part, the rechargeable aspect of the Body Bare is a joke. There is maybe a 10-minute charge, which is quite an inconvenience when the charge runs out in the middle of a shave.

I would suggest sticking to the battery-operated version until the rechargeable version goes through some major and much-needed improvements.

The bodybare shaver works well (it's been 3 weeks). Just make sure it's charged well. We had no issues using it, the battery was strong through the first 30 minute shave. Definitely use as much baby powder as possible and go against the grain (preferably in circular motions). You need to work slowly and go over the same area until you no longer hear the hair being trimmed.

The trimmer definitely needs fresh AA batteries. When it starts wavering, replace the batteries.

Trimmer/sewing machine oil was bought at a textile place. I definitely recommend it to keep the blades in good condition. Although it may feel like you're breaking it, the trimmer blades do actually come off.

Opening the package is not impressive at all. It looks very much like an overseas knock-off of the real product. I sent an email to one of the many resellers of this 'model' and they admit that no single company distributes it. That would be one reason I'd go for the Seiko Cleancut over this model. Still, although it's not name-brand, it still works well.

The packaging feels very cheap. The trimmer had bleeding colors on the logo and the battery door would knock close all the way. The feel of the bodybare was much better and looked very professional. No complaints about the main product. I can see why the trimmer comes 'free'.

Me and my wife bought the Body Bare shaver. It worked just as they said it would if not better. To my wifes suprise it did not leave behind any burning feeling. She has sensitive skin in her bikni area and this shaver did no0t leave red irritation bumps behind. A great product! Even I use her shaver now. We may need to buy a second one.

This will get your skin baby-bottom smooth. The first razor, the white one, doesn't seem well made and my first one broke (hence the -1 star.) But, Deak sent me another one no questions asked and it has worked fine although it is cheaply made. The silver one is awesome and if you use it daily or bi-daily you can skip the white one altogether after the first run.

Altogether after having waxed & razored, this combo is for me the ultimate and I wouldn't endure painful razor bumps ever again! I have rather sensitive skin.

Note: You MUST use powder. If you don't plan to then don't buy this! Also, it takes a few runs over each spot to get it smooth. You basically need to approach the hair from all directions. There is no pain involved., but it takes about 5 minutes to do it right.

Enjoy!

I'm in Australia and I purchased the original rechargeable BodyBare Intimate shaver about 5years ago - not through Amazon but direct from an online company in the US - can't remember who... (Bought it to shave my 'special bits' for my boyfriend) This little unit is still going strong - like I'd bought it yesterday and still shaving me VERY close and VERY, VERY smooth. As smooth as a baby's bum! Probably have to quickly 'retrim' every 5days or so. I'm very happy with it and have absolutely no complaints and would recommend it to anybody - I guess it could have the option of a Titanium blade or replacement - but after 5years I'm still using the original and it works just brilliantly! From reading other reviews I just can't understand how the hell people can tear the metal mesh on the head of the shaver - what the hell are they doing with it? Even after 5 years the battery lasts strongly for about 25minutes before slowly dwindling. It's a dry shaver so always use powder when shaving - I use CornStarch powder from the baby section in the supermarket. Because the BodyBare shaver is so safe and efficient to use compared to a sharp multiblade razor blade - I don't have to be slow or cautious about razor angles, razor speed, razor directions etc. I can just get in there an very quickly work the magic with the BodyBare as it's completely safe and protected. Takes just over a minute for a complete 'touchup' every 5days to get the Vagigi looking totally smooth and beautifully presentable!

Note: This is not really a shaver suited for anything but the 'personal' area. My boyfriend tried it on his tough 2day facial stubble and although it worked (after many passes of the razor) it slowly struggled and took a while to get a smooth finish on tough, thick whiskers.
