Simply the Best!,
By M.C-S. (Vienna, Austria) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Body Care-Arnica Massage Oil - 3.4 oz - Oil (Health and Beauty)
In Austria, Weleda has been very well known for decades and it deserves to be known as one of the best "organic" brands out there.
My family and I have used the arnica massage oil for years now and nothing comes close to it. The fragrance is subtle, never too dominant, and the oil is awesome for post workout skin care. If you apply it shortly after the shower it'll mix with your moist skin and helps reduce (actually I believe it also eliminates) sore muscles. As avid outdoor athletes we use it after everything - adventure race, triathlon, trail run,... you name it and the Weleda oils are always something we look forward too! The price might seem a bit high, especially in the US (note: 3.4 oz are only EUR8,95 in Germany), but it is worth it. Better yet, if you know anybody who travels to Germany, Austria or Switzerland in the near future, ask them to bring a few bottles along!

I work out between 4 to 6 days a week (mainly yoga and weight lifting)
I have old injuries (broken hip, torn hamstring, strained ribs, etc) and working on getting my skeleton stronger, in proper alinement is sometimes very painful. I used to use Arnica homeopathic pills, and gel when needed. I read the reviews about this oil and wanted to give it a try... I received it today and was actually aching from past workouts. I applied it, and instantly felt the results...No more pain!!! I definitely recommend this product!

Using this product for post-surgical scar massage after a wrist fracture. Nice lavender scent. Can't really tell if it helps with pain, but it does feel good and has a pleasant texture that absorbs well after massage. I have sensitive skin and this didn't bother it a bit.

This is great. I skinned my knees up badly--it has really helped the healing process along. I also use it on sore/stiff joints. The texture/oil helps smoothe it on.

I am afraid of how a video review for this product might look :)I find the smell very pleasant and relaxing. It can be used on a man or woman which is a big plus. The oil has a nice viscosity for massage, it is a mix of sunflower and olive oil I believe. It is fun to be either the massager or the massaged: hands move easily along the body and can give good deep pressure as needed. Clean up is easy. My skin is well-moisturized after a massage and I have never had any trouble with break outs. I have not noticed a true benefit of the arnica when it comes to injury and sport massage. My return to cycling has led to some pretty sore muscles. Any massage helps, but I don't notice a big difference between this oil and another that does not contain arnica.

Great product (Weleda Arnica Massage Oil), good price (Less than $20 delivered) !! !! This stuff is the best. The arnica makes it an effective rub, especially on sore or painful muscles.

I have fibromyalgia and several people told me how good arnica oil was for the pain. Unfortunateley it did not work for me. But people with fibromyalgia are all different and what works for one does not always work for the next person.

Arnica (Weleda) works again. Have been using arnica of different type for 5-7 years now due poor patient to bio-freeze (appears not very effective), found arnica products work much better. And Weleda is one of the better one'.
