5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing and confident first try
I was pleasantly surprised the first time I layed on the Inversion Table by Body Champ. As I raised my arms and felt myself effortlessly and easily fall backward to a feet up position, I recalled the one review I had read about this machine that seemed to lack any praise for the sturdiness of support I was feelin. It works. The box came damaged and I was concerned that parts might be missing. Fortunately not. It took a while to put together. Some things were not quite clear even from the pictures and wording. It works. The box came damaged and I was concerned that parts might be missing. Fortunately not. It took a while to put together. Some things were not quite clear even from the pictures and wording. Quality is average. The rough labels on the foot rest have already come off as well as the label on the back of the bench. Two of the bolts stick out too far on the interior of the frame and I have already scratched my arms on them as I fully invert. Another problem is that I have to wear some substantial running shoes with this product in order to hold my feet in place comfortably and securely. Once in, it is easy to invert and to bring yourself back to an upright position.

It was all that was promised by the ads, and built with quality parts.
I began easily over several weeks to adapt to the feeling of being upsidedown. I have yet to reach full inversion, but I am confident I won't fall on my head. And I finish each stretch feeling great.

1.0 out of 5 stars BAD design, February 21, 2009

The top of the bench hits you in the neck. If you extrend the slide bar ,your balance is thrown off. I'm 6 ft. wieght 185. But no matter what height you are your head is going to hang over the edge. Because when you adjust the slide bar to your height your head will always end up in the same bad place. It works for going completely over but not for stopping anywhere inbetween. Because your head has nothing to rest on. I finally tied 40 lbs. of weights on the top end . This makes using the table more dangerous. But with it I can move the bar down so my head hits the bench.
I can't believe the designers ever actually tried using it. Pro - It is nice looking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great for a Bad Back, August 23, 2009
This review is from: Body Champ Gravity Inversion System (Sports)
I'm one of those people that has a Chronic Bad Back. It regularly goes out when I strain it too much. If your back has ever gone out, you know what I mean. It instantly drops you to the floor, and you cannot move.

In the past, I've tried hanging over the arm of a couch, Traction Devices that hang from the door, or just lay on my back for minutes to up to hours or even days before I can function normally again.

I bought this Gravity Inversion System (GIS) just weeks before starting a remodeling job on my house. In the past, I would only have been able to get a couple days work done before being down for days. This time, when I felt my back starting to go out, I'd use the GIS for a few minutes and I could go back to work. Also, I noticed that if I used it every day for a few minutes a day, that I could go days without ANY back pain, something I have not been able to do for MANY years! I've tried Chiropractic, Medication, Rest, etc, and none of them helped as much as this GIS does. It got me through my 2 Month remodel.

HIGHLY recommended!

PS: Be sure to SLOWLY set up and adjust the Table BEFORE jumping right on. If you don't, you will either flip over quickly and get hurt, or hang upside down and not be able to get back up easily. It's VERY sensitive to being adjusted correctly. I recommend having a second person around when you are first getting used to it. And remember, EVERY person has a different setting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Inversion Table for the Price, January 19, 2009
This review is from: Body Champ Gravity Inversion System (Sports)
You are no doubt finding that there is a wide range of prices for inversion tables. No doubt that this is not the nicest inversion table on the market, but given that it is 1/2 the price or less than other models, it's a good option. We like it and use it regularly.

this is a nice inversion table for the money, I had been using one at my doctors office that works a little smoother and holds your ankles tighter ,but it cost much more and its not worlds better . the only complaint I have is the instructions for adjusting the pivot were vague at best . but the quality and stability are great . I would recommend this table to anyone for home use .

5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Back Problems, January 19, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Body Champ Gravity Inversion System (Sports)
Purchased this for my husband. He loves it so much I tried it out for myself and it is great. It is easy to use on your own and it is fantastic for stretching out and relaxing those tight muscles and getting your spine back into alignment. It does not take up much space and can be put together in a matter of 30-40 minutes. Stores in a corner standing up, so you never have to take it apart to put away. It has many height adjustments so anyone in the family can use it. Heavy padding makes the backboard very comfortable, and the covering looks like leather (is vynl) but is extremely strong and sturdy. Body Champ IT7000 Inversion Table

5.0 out of 5 stars Body Champ Inversion, February 8, 2008

I have been using the Body Champ for over a month now and the overall feeling in my lower back has became a whole lot better. Good construction of unit at a fair price. You can find a few that are cheaper, but that is just what they are - cheaper! A definate YES recomendation to anyone needing back relief that can stand to be upside down for 3-5 minutes, 2-3 times a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worthful Health Product, January 13, 2008
This review is from: Body Champ Gravity Inversion System (Sports)
The gravity inversion table is all I expected it to be. It was easy to assembly with all the parts intact. I'm still learning how to use the table, but it sure is helping on the alignment of my spine & hips. The teetering motion helps the most with longer pauses inverted. I'm 73 yrs old, and would recommend this product to anyone with back and hip problems. It was recommended by my Chiropractor that I try inversion on my spine.
