The "Body For Hire" series of videos are an absolute must for anyone that is seriously concidering a career in the personal protection field. No one should attempt as demanding a profession without having learned the fundamentals and they are in these videos presented in a easy to understand format. The viewer has the opportunity to practice these fundamentals at their leisure by replaying the video lessons. I have attended 2 of Hawk/East's on site classes and after viewing the videos, I realized that they were great for refresher training too. These videos are not only for potential bodyguards, but also anyone that is concerned for the safety of family/friends.

I would recommend the Body for Hire series to anyone considering a career in executive close protection. The videos provide a useful insight for those with little knowledge of the protective security industry and do a great deal to dispel the myth's and Hollywood image of bodyguard's and what they do. Whilst the focus of the training presented is that of a large detail dignitary protection team, the information is also relevant to small team/single operator assignments. The instructors are all experienced close protection officers with backgrounds in law enforcement and the military. The subjects and techniques covered include everything from bomb search and close quarter handgun drills to communications and the vital skill of advance reconnaissance. All in all, these videos provide a great way for the novice to begin their training in close protection, as well as a useful review of essential knowledge for the experienced operator.

i want to just say that (BODY FOR HIRE) is the most detailed source of info provided to service men and civilians alike. (BODY FOR HIRE) is a vice a (basic) BUT FIRM grip on being a Bodyguard,CPP,and or A EPS. (BFH) answers all the questions that you can think of pertaining to SPECIAL SERVICES it even answers question you didn't think of. I thought the tapes (1,2,3) were brilliant IT IS an EXPLOSION OF KNOWLEDGE i would recommend (BODY FOR HIRE)TO ANYONE TRYING TO BRAKE IN TO EXECUTIVE PROTECTION. the instructors spoke very clearly and with a lot of authority and they were very knowledgeable on the subjects they were instructing. I believe in "each one teach one" that's why I'm writing this review. I ALSO BELIEVE "EVERY THING AINT FOR EVERYBODY" but i hope I'm not casting jewels upon deaf ears. buy the tapes you won't regret it

As far as stand alone... no way, but as a primer or review material it is 1st class. I suggest all protection specialist get this as an addition to your library. It always amazes me how simple basic materials will create that spark that lets you grease te groove to better consistency and in our proffesion that can mean life or death. Don't be to proud to admist base materials like this help. Get it, review it and as always refine.
