5.0 out of 5 stars BUY FOR THE BANNED SONG "COP KILLER", March 27, 2009
This review is from: Body Count [Japan Import] [1st Pressing] (Audio CD)
I bought this album way back in 1992, encouraged by a friend to do so. I had never herd of "Body Count", at the time but had an open mind, my friend had herd it, and said get it. I liked what I herd after I brought it. You could say it's an aquired taste, won't be everyone's cup of tea. But it's the only album/cd that I know of that was banned, WORLDWIDE. According to what I herd, is that the band and Warner Bros. music, got genuine DEATH THREATS, if the song "Cop Killer" was not removed from the album. I guess if your a cop in the U.S.A, and other countries, you could understand why. But it's only music, like other bands that have been accused of creating/inciting someone to commit suicide/murder. But if some unstable physcopathatic lunatic kills themselves or someone else over a song, THEY HAVE REAL ISSUES.EXTREMELY RARE, and will be worth a lot of money in the future, because of that one song "Cop Killer"
