5.0 out of 5 stars The Body Crayon Book.
This is an excellent beginner book for young and old face and body painters. It offers very nice design that are fun to do. It also includes body pencil instead of messy face paint. It is great to use at parties or any children event.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great ideas, messy implementation
My 4.5yo and 2yo daughters love this book and are always asking me to draw designs on them. The only thing I don't like about it is that, unlike conventional face paint, the designs do not dry on the skin. They can rub off at any point... and the colors stain, black especially. :(

My granddaughter who is 7 loved this even more than I thought she would. She shares it with her friends and took it to 'show and tell' at school (a sure sign that she likes it) and it is very easy to clean off.

I really liked this book & crayons. User friendly for all ages. Easy to clean off and less messy to use.

3.0 out of 5 stars LIked but it has its limitations, May 11, 2009
This review is from: Body Crayon Book (Editors of Klutz) (Spiral-bound)
I bought these thinking they would be easier than paint if we wanted to do some quick art and have fun without the mess however I was disappointed as they rubbed off very easily and if left outside when it is warm they will get so soft you cannot use them. So I have mixed feelings about them: easy to use but they have their limitations. The book, however, had some great ideas.

4.0 out of 5 stars We love it, April 22, 2008

This is a hit for my daughter and I. It is a bit difficult to draw clearly, but we love it anyhow. I trust the product composition/quality more than the temporary tatoos my daughter likes to put on. The crayons are made by Lyra, a well-known germany company (not made in china). We left the crayons on a table near a window and the tips melted--so keep out of the sun/heat!

Every kid should have a gift like this. It inspires the imagination, but also provides ideas for how to use them. Clean up has been pretty easy. My kids go back to them over and over again.

My children received this many years ago from their uncle and loved every minute using it. Now his children are old enough and I am sending it to them for Christmas. Sure to be a favorite!

Heah! My wife and I used these crayons at our summer camp, and it's the first time we could see them clearly on my wifes skin! I know this sounds funny, but it's hard to find crayons for dark skins! We had a blast with all our kids full of TATTOOS!

5.0 out of 5 stars FUN - a great investment, October 6, 2005

My 9 year old daughter bought this with her own money. It has been something the whole family has enjoyed. Our favorite is storytelling with characters painted on our hands!
