Very great high protein whey powder bodybuilding supplement,
This review is from: Body Fortress 2lb Vanilla Whey Protein (Health and Beauty)
This is a very good whey protein powder. Not only does it contain 100% whey protein, it also contains other supplements which can further enhance results such as creatine, taurine, glutamine, leucine, isoleucine, valine. This product has been regularly advertised in magazines such as Muscle and Fitness for many years.Each scoop contains a very high 26 grams of protein, 130 calories, 2 grams fat, and 2 grams sugars. There is about 7 grams of BCAA's per 2 scoops. Each scoop is 33 grams of powder and there are about 28 servings per container or if you double scoop about 14 servings per container. The taste is great when mixed with milk. The vanilla flavor isn't so exciting when mixed with water but is still ok. Make sure to blend this in a blender for best taste. Or atleast use a shaker bottle to mix this with your drink, it wont be as good as blended but still ok. I wouldn't recommend mixing this with a spoon because it tends to get very clumpy and wont disolve thoroughly and doesn't taste very good. I've also tried the chocolate flavor and will say that the vanilla tastes better. Results are good while using this product. I have gained many pounds of muscle in a few months. So far all my muscle groups have seen gains while using this product. Don't expect this product to be a miracle powder if you don't do the hard work necessary to gain muscle. For best results use before and after your workouts. Here is the "current" ingredients list: Whey protein blend (whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate), super recovery blend (creatine monohydrate, taurine, L-glutamine, leucine, isoleucine, valine), cocoa (processed with alkali), natural and artificial flavors, soy lecethin, acesulfame potassium, sucralose. *This review was provided using the most current "formula" as of writing. I have been using this product for years and every so often they change the formula.

Great for Recovery!!! I take Optimum Nutrition and Body Fortress,
This review is from: Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Strawberry Supplement - 32 Oz (Health and Beauty)
UPDATE:I finished the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein - Strawberry so I bought a large tub of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein. After a week of use, I realize that the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein is a far superior for recovery with their 'recovery mix' included in their whey protein (Creatine, Taurine, L-Glutamine, etc...). I very much prefer it after work outs to the ON Gold Standard. I prefer the ON protein in the morning and pre-work out. It doesn't have the recovery blend and is much more subtle. Strawberry in both flavors taste decent, the Body Fortress is a bit sweet and tastier than the ON Strawberry but both are fine. They both mix well, the Body Fortress does have a few crystals sometimes, the ON is a finer powder and gets everywhere as find dust. I work out 4-6 days a week depending on fatigue. The results so far are promising just in 4 weeks.. I'm retaining lean muscle, which is especially important after I've started running at least 2-3 miles a day and 4-5 miles on cardio/carb days (essentially every other day)and I've increased strength and already pushing harder after my rest day each week. (you have to put the time and challenge yourself for results). I've changed my daily diet as well to high protein and low carb so realize it takes more than just a protein shake to really get results. I'm taking in carbs in fruits, vegetables, rices and pastas for the low carb part of my diet. The price is good at $15 for 2 lbs if you grab a couple 2lbs tubs with free delivery. I really missed the Creatine, Taurine, L-Glutamine in the Body Fortress blend and had to get it even though I have a 5lbs tub of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Conclusion: This is a far superior 'recovery' whey protein/recovery blend for after work outs compared to the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. I like the ON Gold Standard in the morning and just before I work out. 2115|R2QZ50ZXK1LN2J;2115|REJAIZCVSA8N6;2115|R2SNIPWP5ZS07V;
