The Body Glove Infant Carrier works great. It is easy to put on and fits my son well. There is a floatation type device around the carrier part to help it stay afloat in water. My son (6 months) has a good time splashing around in this carrier and I don't have to worry so much about holding him in the water.

This is such a good idea, but this carrier just isn't that great. I'm 5'8, 185 pounds, and this thing just barely fit around my waist. Yes, I know I need to lose weight, but I did just have a baby 6 months ago. My waist is actually small proportionally to my body, so if you are overweight or just have a wide waist then I don't recommend this.

The instructions say it is for babies 3-6 months old, which is laughable. Most people don't take their babies swimming until they are 6 months old anyway. Also, the weight limit is 18 pounds-my 6 month old is already 18 pounds! I'm still going to use it despite all this. It works great if you are waist deep in water, it floats the baby in the seat and in the water it's comfortable. Out of the water it digs into your shoulders and is very uncomfortable. I would not use this as a regular carrier. I have to take my 4 kids to swimming lessons by myself, so this is very helpful and I will keep it. I don't know that I would recommend it to friends, however.

My wife bugged me all summer to get one of these and I finally did- IT was great. Our baby is 4.5 months old and was allready comfortable in the Bjorn carrier- this one is so comfortable my wife could see using it even when shes not in the pool.

Tried to use this for a long time on multiple babies since we had a pool. Unfortunately, I could never get it set so it was very useful. Seems like a great concept, but I found the thing to be too slack and the baby would fall all over the place.

I had to keep my hands on all the time. And the baby couldn't interact in the water with the parent very well which is the entire reason for being in the water.

The carrier seemed ill fitting for me.

I bought this for my youngest child (I have 2 under 2) in hopes that I could chase the older one around at the waterpark and not have to worry about either of them getting hurt. This carrier was great and my son loved it and so did I. Every once in a while the straps would get really tangled which would be a pain but they usually stayed put. I had the red hibiscus print but obviously the black one is the same. I got so many comments on it too. I wasn't sure if it was worth the money but it's defintely worth every penny. I'll be bummed when he can no longer use it. We use it everywhere not just for water related activities it keeps them warm no matter where you are.
