While the appearance is good, I am disappointed with the fact that its design reduces its useability. The top cover is held on by a strechy piece of black cloth that hides part of the phone's screen unless you push it up manually. Initially a minor inconvienence. Eventually, a major pain.

I looked hard for a case that would provide drop-protection for my cell phone, and selected this one on that basis. Amazon's product description was sketchy, but it sounded like this model would do the job. In fact, it does offer good protection -- except in corner areas by the hinge, where large areas of exposure mean the case could easily crack if these corners hit ground first.

One other problem: the "quick release" mechanism for the belt clip is convenient, but bending over (and putting pressure on the phone against the clip) can easily cause the phone to pop loose. I've only had the case three weeks and it has happened a dozen times. Both of these design flaws could have been addressed easily by the mfg. Otherwise, the case is well made given its price; it looks good and is convenient. I also like that when the case and clip are removed from a belt, the revolving clip acts as a well-balanced "mini stand" so that the phone can sit on a tabletop at an angle....
