Fits like a, well, glove, February 14, 2007
This review is from: Body Glove Radical Case for Motorola RAZR V3- Black with Removable Belt Clip (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I took a gamble on this case, and overall, I recommend it. Performs all essential functions of basic moisture and shock protection.
Pros: It is a two-piece, so you don't have to really wrestle with it to slip it over the phone. It has flaps of flexible plastic film completely protecting both inner and outer screens. You don't really notice the film is even there. The camera lens is never blocked by the case. There's a big enough hole to plug in the charger with no difficulty -- which is important because the d@#m RAZR phones just burn through batteries, so you'll be charging a lot. Some people might not like that the case adds friction (doesn't slide smoothly in and out of pockets or purses). But I think the case's stickiness is actually a plus, because friction helps prevent you from fumbling the phone. You may never have to learn this case's shock protection value, because this case will tend not to slip out of your fingers. I found the belt clip to be useful -- it does ratchet 360 degrees so you can wear it any way you like.
Cons: The keypaid is not totally encased in plastic film, but personally I don't plan to take my phone for a swim, or use it in a downpour. Also I can see where, if you were taking this case on and off all the time, you might rip the case at a single weak attachment point (where the plastic securing strap that goes over the keypad is sewn to the outer case). But just do a quality control check before you install it, and go gently slipping it on. I really don't foresee a problem there. I do wish the belt clip jaws were a little longer, to accommodate the wider-than-normal belt I wear with my uniform. But this is pretty much the standard width on all phone case belt clips.
All in all, you may as well just stop looking and buy this one. It's good quality and does what a case is supposed to do, with no real drawbacks.

Issue with quality control, October 27, 2006
This review is from: Body Glove Radical Case for Motorola RAZR V3- Black with Removable Belt Clip (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought two for our new RAZR phones. My wife put hers on and it was a nice fit; however, within an hour the clear vinyl screen cover ripped and the cover no longer stays on. The problem is that the strength of the clear vinyl is compromised where it is sewn to the black case. On closer examination of the other case, I noticed that it was already failing without even putting it on the phone. Based on the positive reviews I read here before buying, I have to think that this problem is a quality control problem and some cases are good and others are bad. I recommend buying in person and inspect it closely before you purchase.

Best Case Ever!, August 16, 2006
This review is from: Body Glove Radical Case for Motorola RAZR V3- Black with Removable Belt Clip (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This case is great, much better than anything else I've seen on the market. My Razr came with a free silicon case which was flimsy, and offered no real protection. I promptly started looking for a better case and after much research and consideration decided on the Body Glove case. For any of you that are unfamiliar with Body Glove products, the material is similar to a wet suit (the company also makes those) and like a wet suit the case takes a little bit of work to get on. Once it's in place, it fits the phone perfectly, with cutouts on anything that needs it, like the speaker and the smart button. The cut out for the charging port doesn't quite sync up on mine, but does not obstruct the charger from being inserted. The case is designed with clear plastic sheets covering the inside and outside LCD screens as well as the numeric buttons of the phone. This is by far the best feature since it protects the screens from scratches, does not interfere with the picture view, and is the only case I've seen to do this. Another unusual feature is that the top and bottom halves of the case will detach from each other so if you only want to cover the top or bottom of the phone you can do so. The belt clip is probably the thinnest I've seen, and can be rotated when needed though does not allow the phone to spin around feely by itself. Another reviewer commented that the bolt for the belt clip can be removed although I'm not sure how this would be done since it seems to be pretty securely in place. Overall I'm giving this product five stars since it really is the best case out there for the Razr.
