I looked in several stores but could not find this type of case. This design allows view of the external display. Also, I can open the phone without having to remove it from a holster. The case provides excellent grip; it does not become slippery as some materials (e.g., vinyl) tend to do. About the only drawback for me is that when I detatch it from the belt clip, the part of the clip that stays with the phone protrudes and can be a little cumbersome if (for example) I put it into my pocket or place it on the dash of the car. Still, it is the best design that I have seen for the way I use a phone.
