I had a certain amount of trepidation at buying this model. Some of the other click/snap-on cases had poor reviews, and I was concerned that there just might not be a good way to put a case on this phone. Don't worry about that - this thing stays on just fine!

I'm glad I spent a little extra and got this Body Glove model. The texture is pleasant, the soft nature of the material gives me confidence that it would absorb shock if it were dropped. The design helps keep prints off of the screen. The clip works well... and is included but optional (a plus). It's also really impressive the way they have the entire inside lined with a dense velvet material so that the phone is protected from marring.

The case fits snugly, stays on, protects the phone, provides a clip, and allows the qwerty keyboard to be slid open and used without problems. The ONLY con I found was that it reduces the vibrate's force a bit.

Very glad I spent a bit more and got this case!

I use this case on an LG Cosmos which is Verizon's version of the Rumor. I don't use the belt clip and the case comes with a piece to fill the hole where the clip attachment would go. The case makes the whole phone a tad bit bulky which I guess is good if I happen to drop it. It seems to work as it should and is easy to attach. One downside is that it is a little difficult to remove if you want to clean underneath it.

All in all a very good case and feels like it would protect your phone if dropped.

This case is a quality case that's well built. My only issue with it is that while it is a great 'purse carry case', it's not a good 'belt carrying' case.
The design of the LX265 phone is such that if you carry it on your belt in the BodyGlove case you have two problems. One, the phone will open up, which disables the keypad lock and exposes the phone to being easily damaged. The second problem is that the rubberized feel of the BodyGlove phone case does NOT allow you to carry it in a separate belt case. The rubber surface of this case is sticky like it's supposed to be. So sticky that it's difficult to remove from a belt holster.
The LX265 phone isn't sturdy enough to be carried on a belt without a protective belt case. It won't take too many bumps against objects before it breaks. The BodyGlove case is a great case, but the design flaw of the phone makes it not desirable for belt carry, in my opinion.
In summary, the BodyGlove case is a great case for purse carry. However, for belt carry, I think that people might want to find another alternative.

Mine lasted about a year before the rubber started to peel off and the plastic tabs keeping the cover on the phone wore out. I loved it before it fell apart.

all of our cell phones have these cases. Our assistant keeps dropping the office cell phone, and this is the only case that will stand up to his clumsiness. So when we bought the phone for our daughter, we told her that it has to have a case. She isn't as happy as we are, because it bulks up the phone just enough that it will not fit in the pockets of her tight jeans. But when she saw her friends iPhone get dropped off of her bike, with no cover...she was convinced that this is a good thing to have. We are happy, she is now happy. Great case.

My teen daughter uses this one. It has lasted much longer than many others. Lots of texting and butt dialing! Worth the extra cost.

I gave this case time before I wrote the review. I have now had time enough to use it to be able to tell you that it is AMAZING! the case feels great! I have dropped my phone countless times & had no damage to it! I HIGHLY recommend this case for any phone it is available for lol. Shoot I would put one on my ipod touch if I didnt have the Otterbox on it (Which is also Amazing btw lol)

Just 1 word of advice.. Make sure you put a screen cover on your phone before putting any case on it that does not protect the screen as well. Mine has a big scratch on it from the previous case.. I assume I dropped it & since my previous case kept breaking (I bought 3 before I switched to this one lol) I now have a scratch.. rather noticeable too.. SO Buy a screen cover! (Check out the invisible shield on zagg.com )

I wasted 3 weeks and about $30 buying cheaper cases that either 1.) Never arrived 2.) Arrived broken (still in the package, too!) or 3.) Broke upon installation Lame! And since most of what I had paid was shipping, sending them back or asking for refunds was a waste of time. What a racket.

This Body Glove unit, on the other hand, fits, my wife loves the grippy, cushy feel (more like a smooth, dense foam than rubber), and it's worked flawlessly for several months now. We combined it with a screen protector (a 3-pack we also bought on Amazon), and was able to relax that she wasn't going to bust or scratch her phone during everyday use, tossing it in the purse, and the occasional drop. Her Mom got the same phone, and once she saw this case asked me to order her one, too, and he experience has been just as good.

I feel funny giving it five stars, because, hey, it's a phone case, but the extra star is for being sooooooo much better from the cheap junk we tried to use first. Don't waste your money on the cheap cases - this LG phone may not be the most expensive thing you've ever wanted to protect, but the extra you spend on this case will more than make up for the simple frustration of buying something else.

Very well made...the cover/shell is fairly durable and attractive without being too pretty or masculine. Both the shell and the belt clip are very secure...maybe a little too secure. The spring mechanism is such as it takes a really strong pinch to remove once it's on and the shell takes a little extra prying to take off, but once they're on they're going nowhere! I had one for my old Rumor and was very pleased with it, so once I got another phone it was a no-brainer as to what accessory I was getting to protect it. Pricing's fair so it's affordable for just about everyone. Highly recommended for active folks such as myself or if you just want to keep your phone well protected...you can't go wrong either way.
