I bought this table from Big 5 sports. It took about one hour to assemble. It seems to work fine. Another reviewer said that the cross bars were a problem. She must have another type of table. The IT8020 doesn't have anything that interferes with it's operation.

Great table. Some people aren't even reviewing the correct product. There are no bar problems. There is no stability issue. Good pads for your feet, nice ruler for height adjustment, most importantly secure and comfortable. I do sit ups and twist while I am upside down.

Price was right, liked that it has three stages, made well. Made to hold large people as well. Would recommend this product.

$100 at academy sports. took about an hour to assemble. all parts are clearly labeled for the assembly. even the bolts and related hardware are easy to identify. I'm 6'4",235. I feel secure on this table. I don't see the need to spend a lot of money on one of these. I am starting out slow. set the angle at 30 degrees. does what it is designed to to.

I got this on sale at Big 5 for $95. I have to say that I'm not happy with it and will probably take it back, but first will go to all the sports stores to try some other ones out. Overall this is cheap quality. The way all the foot rest and leg adjustment components fit together is just... flimsy. This is definitely not a "solid" product, and I would try other units. Indicates it could hold up to 250lbs but I'm at 206 and would not recommend it for someone heavier - I just don't see how it would safely hold together for after prolonged use. Also I went on it barefoot and [being a total beginner with this] the padding on the feet was just not doing a great job not hurting me. Actually, the reason I could not stay upside down for more than 30 seconds was due to pain from the feet holding mechanism. I am very curious to try other [more expensive] ones now. I don't usually write reviews unless I have to warn people about a product (one that really shines.)

On a good note, and the reason I gave this 2 stars instead of one, these inversion tables really do good for your back. I used this unit twice for 10 minutes and wanted to share with you a few things that I thought of regarding the "decompression" of your spine.

First, after realizing that it's pretty uncomfortable to hang upside down for prolonged periods of time, I found it very easy to use the following program:
1)stay inverted for 1 or 2 minutes (as a beginner, I can't really do 2)
2)come to rest at a horizontal position for a few minutes (so the pressure in your head stabilizes)
3)repeat steps 1 and 2 as many times as you can BEFORE GETTING BACK UP to vertical position.

I think this allows for maximum relaxation of the back without actually hanging upside down constantly.
