So I would describe my skin as olive toned, healthy, minimal acne, with the only problem being that I have to use moisturizer because it is more so on the dry side.

I picked up the Vitamin C Microdermabrasion from the body shop for around $20 because I love all of their other products; however, this product has been nothing but my skin's worst nightmare. I took home a sample of this product and the first time I used it was in October and had no problems with it. I loved the scent and the way it made my skin feel after using it. So I purchased the whole bottle and the past two times I have tried it (within a month of one another) my face became EXCESSIVELY dry the next day after using it! I had red blotches all over my face: chin, cheeks, under the eye (a few days later turned purple and made me look like I got beat up), above the eye-lids, corners of my eyes. Everytime I put moisturizer on my face to cure the dryness it burned as if I had applied acid on my face.
I had to hide in my house for 4-5 days constantly applying benadryll and moisturizer to make the redness go away and it is still here as we speak but is slowly fading.

It makes me sad to have to write this about this product because I absolutely love all of the Body Shop's other products and was their biggest fan. However, this Vitamin C Microdermabrasion has got to go!
