Great weight bar for doing light bicep or triceps work. You can also lay on your back on a bench to do chest. It gets used almost everyday by multiple people & has held up well. The padding is perfectly fine, no problems yet!

I gave this as a gift to my daughter who is an M.D. and in her first year of her residency. She has little time to go to the gym at this time and to my amazement this body bar has allowed her to keep up with her upper body strength. I would highly recommend this product.

Some of my fitness videos use these weighted bars. I already had a 9 pound and a 24 pound bar but I needed one in between the two. This is perfect. The bar is a little padded, making it comfortable to hold. To me it is a lot handier to have a couple different weighted bars to pick up than adding or taking off weights from one bar. Amazon had the best price and with free shipping it was the best buy.
