I purchased a 3rd tier for use on the Body Solid GDR60 Dumbbell Rack. I routinely store 1500 pounds of dumbbells on this rack (two each dumbbells from 35-90 pounds in five-pound increments). It is solid as a rock and works perfectly. Normally, you would expect to have to store the heaviest dumbbells on the bottom tier (for stability), but that's not necessary with the GDR60. This rack is so well designed that it remains very stable, even if you store the heaviest dumbbells on the top tier (where I do, as they are easiest to access that way). Can't say enough good things about this dumbbell rack. If you get one and store a lot of dumbbells, make sure you buy the 3rd tier. I was going to place dumbbells on the floor instead of using a 3rd tier. That would have been a huge mistake.
