Nothing mind blowing about these, just standard weight plates. The paint is not of an ultra high finish so I could see some chipping or flaking of the pain over time. However, I used them indoor on soft carpeting and have not experienced this issue yet.

What can I say, it works the extra weight keeps my desktop mic stand from toppling over. The mic stand has a 13 inch goose neck, and a heavy mic, so this thing makes it stable.
