The durable frame is made from TR-90 nylon. All BSG lenses are 2.0 mm thick. The BSG line is compliant with Safety and Ballistic Standards ANSI Z87.1, Z80.3 and MIL-STD 662, providing ultimate protection for the wearer. Due to the high safety standards the Body Specs line meets, they are favored by motorcycle enthusiasts, for skiing, snowboarding, shooting, and other extreme sports, the military, police, and other law enforcement agencies. Couldn't be happier!

I use these as my daily sunglasses, my safety glasses when working in the shop or on the vehicles, my shooting glasses, and my kayaking goggles. They are scratch resistant, lightweight, comfortable, and don't stay fogged up.

I used this pair of eye protection for my last deployment in AFG. They were sufficient in protecting my eyes from the sand and wind. The lenses were minimalistic, but provided adequate coverage. The only gripe I had was that the foam gasket tore easily. Overall, good product.
