I started to read the book and found the characters and plot lacking real substance. It was just too simple a plot to hold interest and I only read half way through before giving up on the book. Language was a bit raw for my liking and seemed to be put in for effect only. The main reason I started the book was because of the setting on PEI but alas it did not fit the character of the beautiful Island in which it was set.
