I bought these to help trim my 80-pound long-haired dog and they've become my go-to pair of scissors for large jobs. They're sharp, snip cleanly, and are comfortable in the hand.
They're also great for trimming the hair that falls down in front of my dog's eyebrows -- they're long enough I can trim the whole shock of hair evenly in one or two clips, so he has a nice clean line right across. If there's any flaw, it's that they're too sharp and too long to use generally -- I once accidentally gave my dog a snip with these that required several stitches. But that was my fault, not the product's -- be sure you look where you snip!

Aside from them not being as sharp as described before purchasing, there is a lot of friction between blades that hinders proper usage. I guess you get what you pay for!
